As a new dance teacher, I was exposed to germs from all sources. It seemed like I always had a cold. If I didn't teach the class, I didn't get paid. Then my friend introduced me to vitamins and supplements. Helping you reach your wellness goals and live a healthier life would bring me great joy. I have been teaching now over 30 years without missing a day due to illness!
You can keep your body strong in many ways. Exercise is important as is building your immune system. As we grow older, it is even more important to keep our body active and stimulate our brain. Recommending ways to strengthen your body is one of my specialties.
When my husband and I were in the process of adopting our son, the homestudy visit wanted to see that our cleaners were either up very high, or in a locked cabinet. I freaked out - bought a locked cabinet and put the key up high. Then a friend introduced me to toxin free living. Now I have no worries about accidental poisonings and my son is not allergic to shampoo. Getting the toxins out of your home is easy with my free home inspection. Good for the environment too.
I am the wife of a fitness guru and a mother of 2 handsome boys. My family is quite active. Here in Colorado, we take hikes together and bike ride often. My husband genuinely loves training people in boxing as well as other fitness areas. My boys participate in sports like basketball, baseball, skiing, skateboarding, snowboarding and I enjoy dancing, aerial yoga, and Pilates to name a few.
I started seriously dancing when I was 10 years old and continue to teach and take class to this day. As a dancer, it is crucial to stay healthy and keep my body agile and lean. While several of my friends turned to radical diets and unhealthy ways to keep the pounds away, I learned to listen to my body and give it what it needed without depriving myself. Moderation was key as was eating a variety of foods and the right foods.
Through the years I have performed professionally for small and large companies, in theaters and at corporate events. I have taught dance classes to all ages and levels in multiple styles. I was the founder and artistic director for a dance theater company that created unique productions. Along the way, I have worked in numerous places in a multitude of positions such as concessionaire, model, administrative positions, adjunct faculty, and marketing executive. Each position has given me unique experiences to learn and grow.
Throughout my life, setbacks would occur. Obstacles to overcome. Lessons to learn. Fortunately, I had many people to guide me along the way. Knowing what I went through, I am certain I can help others.
I am passionate about helping others live healthier lives and want them to understand there are many options available to them. I also have a soft spot in my heart for not-for-profit organizations especially when it comes to the arts and children. Supporting them is a high priority. Helping wherever I can is my ultimate goal.
"You have a passion to help others
and truly care."
"You give and give, all you are and have. You hold nothing back."
"[You are] very creative and willing to throw yourself 150% into whatever you commit to doing or leading."
"You get an idea and make it work.
You have a professional demeanor that's truly magnetic."
"I find it interesting (and wonderful) how you always seem to have energy."
"Authenticity. What you see is what you get. And spirituality that is expressed in myriad ways."

As a child, I grew up in a small town in Central Illinois. I spent much of my time dancing in Springfield. I went to Ohio to study dance at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in Dance and a Certificate of Business Administration from the Business College. After college, I returned to Springfield to continue dancing. As the Ballet Mistress of the Springfield Ballet Company, I was given the lead roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia. I enjoyed them tremendously! Soon I was on my way to Chicago to pursue more performing opportunities.
As an adult, Pilates became my workout of choice. Soon after, I became a certified Level 1 and 2 Aerial Yoga instructor as well as a certified level 1 and 2 Gyrokinesis instructor. Moving my body in these new ways was a perfect complement to dance and truly enjoyable. For fun and excitement, I performed with a local circus for 8 years in a suburb of Chicago. Cradle trapeze was my favorite apparatus, my speciality. I also performed on the web rope, the teeter board, the Russian Swing and the tight rope. One of my most memorable experiences I had was performing at the closing ceremony of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. It was incredible! A true highlight of my life!
In 1994, while modeling shoes, a friend introduced me to the importance of vitamins and supplements. This changed my life. As a dance teacher, you are exposed to germs from many different sources. If you don’t teach, you don’t get paid. Living on my own, health insurance was not very affordable hence the need to not get sick. With her help, I was able to have more energy while I was teaching, eliminate my menstrual cramps and keep colds and flu away. My study of vitamins and supplements began.
In 2000, I took a fall from a trapeze at a circus practice. Although nothing was “broken” (thanks to my strong body and fabulous vitamins) it took quite a while for my body to get back to where it was. This was the beginning of my search for natural healing, especially for my brain. While the doctors insisted that nothing was wrong, I knew my brain had suffered from the crash and needed help.
After marrying my husband, we pursued having a family. Many attempts were made including IVF, with none ending in pregnancy. We turned to adoption which was an amazing journey that opened our hearts. In 2006, we welcomed our first child into our home. Unfortunately, he was very developmentally delayed at just a year old. Thus began my quest to teach him how to play and eat from a spoon. Helping him overcome his fears with love and devotion was a daily affair. With the help of many therapists and parenting books, I learned how the brain of a child is developed and the impact of early trauma.
Our second child arrived to our home in 2008. More challenges to face and more books to read. This time a focus on how foods affect behavior and what supplements can make a positive change in their life. Lots of adjustments were made to give my boys the best opportunity to thrive.
As the boys grew, allergies were becoming noticeable. Although I tried many brands, my son was still allergic to shampoo. Then a friend educated me on toxins found in the home. I was stunned at the significant number of harmful products and the magnitude of symptoms they cause. With her help, I was able to eliminate the poisons in our home and create a nourishing environment. Since then, I have made a decision to educate others and show them alternatives that are natural, safe and eco-friendly.
I am willing to answer any of your questions and help you in any way I can. I have much to offer and enjoy sharing knowledge with others.
